1] A motorcycle
transmission is a type of transmission which is specially design for motorcycle
applications. In the transmission system, there are driftnets ways to transmit
the output power of the engine to the shaft of the motorcycle.
2] Now let’s discuss different ways to transmit the engine power to the shaft of the motorcycle in detail one by one. The different ways which talking in above to transmit the engine power are: -

Chain type Transmission System – In this transmission
system sprocket is connected to the output shaft of the motorcycle and also
says that the rear wheel of the motorcycle. A smaller sprocket is connected to
the engine shaft. Both sprockets are attached with the help of chain and power
is transmitted to the engine shaft to output shaft of the vehicle this is
called chain transmission system.
Belt type transmission system – This type of transmission
system is similar to the chain type of transmission. But the difference is, in
this type of transmission system pulley is used to transmit the power. One
pulley {Big] is connected to the output shaft or rear wheel of the motorcycle
and another pulley [small] is connected to the shaft of the engine. Both
pulleys are connected with the help of belt and power is transmitted from an
engine shaft to the output shaft of the rear wheel.
Shaft type transmission system – In this transmission
system, the power of the engine is transmitted to the output shaft of the
motorcycle with the help of the arrangement of the shaft. The gearbox system is
the best example of this type of transmission system.
There are two types of the transmission system, one is
manual transmission system and the other is an automatic transmission system.
But most of the drive like the manual transmission system over an automatic
transmission system in their vehicle while automatic transmission system
gearbox has a lot of advantages. In a manual transmission system, we control
the transmission of the engine by manually but automatic transmission there is
no requirement manual switching. But the common problem of the manual
transmission system is a worn clutch due to mechanical error or human error.
There is some advantage of a manual transmission system over an automatic
transmission system. Manual transmission is requiring more concentration and
effort from the drivers, in this thing few drivers enjoy the manual
transmission driving.
